The Officers and Members of the Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company wish to express our condolences to the Harford County Sheriffs Dept. and Family of Deputy 1st. Class William Beebe who was killed in the line-of-Duty on Monday November 27 2006. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family friends and Sheriff Deputies.
A reminder to company members that your membership dues are excepted no later than the January monthly meeting. Dues will be accepted by the company secretary at both the December January monthly meetings. Also those that are delinquent will not eligible to vote for the 2007 elections.
The Whiteford VFC 2006 Ambulance Club Membership Drive applications have been mailed to our primary communities. This drive assistance us in maintaining the highest level of service available. Your donation will entitle your household or business to membership into our ambulance club and limit any financial impact incurred should you require service. Membership in the ambulance club is entirely voluntary and emergency medical services WILL NOT be denied to anyone requiring it regardless of membership or the ability to pay. The benefits of your membership will allow us to bill insurance companies and Medicare for ambulance transport and service rendered. Any outstanding balance not covered by those entities will be covered by your membership. The Annual Santa Run sponsored by the Whiteford Delta-Cardiff Vol. Fire Companies is scheduled for Saturday December 16 2006 beginning at 430pm. Santa will travel by firetruck through the towns of Whiteford Cardiff and Delta to greet children and receive their Xmas wishes. Also Santa will provide each child with a special treat. This years route will begin in Whiteford and end in Delta. Santa is requesting each household to contribute a can good that will donated to the Mason-Dixon Food Locker. Happy Holidays
