pAt 1450hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatch for an enginenbspto Lancaster Co. Sta. 5-8 Rawlinsville for a stand-by detail. Sta. 5-8 and surrounding companies were on-scene of a working dwelling fire in Martic Township. The dwelling was totally destroyed and crews remained to search for a possible victim. Regrettably one person perished in the blaze. At 1502hrs. E613 called and arrived at 1523hrs. At 1710hrs. E613 along with Quarryville Rescue 5-7 responded to the intersection of Truce amp Schoolhouse roads for an MVA wrescue. EMS arrived on scene and canceled fire service. At 2053hrs.
