BOX 610 – BUILDING FIRE

pAt 1905hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched to the 1000blk. of Heaps Rd. for a Building fire. At 1907hrs. Chief 6 E612 amp T631 called en route.nbspEOC advised the caller reported an out building on fire. Chief 6 reported was 2.5 miles out with heavy fire showingnbspand requested a tanker task force assignment. At 1912hrs. Chief 6 arrived and reported a well involved 50×30 building. Due to the icy conditions Command requested both 4×4 units from Fawn Grove E56-1 amp Jarrettsville SU781 to the scene as attack units. Crews were faced with 12 mile driveway with limited accessnbspand icy conditions throughout the operations.The building contained a heavy fire load of auto auto parts and miscellaneous flammable materials. The fire was declared under control at 2013hrs. The Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause.
