It is with deep sadness that the Whiteford VFC announce the death of Past Fire Police Captain & Delta-Cardiff VFC Past President Paul R. Miller on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was married to his loving wife Barbara, for 63 years in October.
Paul owned and operated Paul Miller Oil Burner Service for many years. Chances are, if you lived or worked in the area and had an oil burning furnace; Paul had worked at your home or business. In addition to owning his own business, he was a dedicated family man. He served his country as a member of the Army National Guard, receiving an honorable discharge after three years of service. Paul volunteered a lifetime to the fire service. He held officer and executive positions at Delta-Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company and Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company. He was a member of Esdraelon Lodge No. 176 AF&AM and attended Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church.
