At 1942hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched for a Transfer Assignment to Lancaster Co. Sta.5-8 Rawlinsville. At 1950hrs. E613 called enroute and arrived at 2013hrs. Sta.5-8 and surrounding mutual companies were working in an environmental rescue at the Pinnacle Point Overlook in Martic Township. A hiker had fallen and injured his leg and could not provide his exact location along the trail. Crews were able to find the hiker after a 2 hour search. At 2050hrs. Command requested E613 to the scene for manpower. At 2123hrs. Command requested Special Unit 688 Gator to the scene. At 2124hrs. U671 688 called enroute and arrived at 2151hrs. Crews assisted with the 2 hour extrication that involved several pulley rope systems manpower. The patient suffered a broken leg hypothermia and transported to Lancaster General Hospital by Trooper 1. Units cleared at 2252hrs.Units E613U671SU688
