pstronguLower Chanceford Township PAustrong – At 2332hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched mutual-aid to York Co. Sta. 55 Airville first due for a dwelling fire in the 4200blk of Delta Rd. At 2338hrs. Chief 6 amp T631 called en-route and monitored Sta. 55 units arriving on location with a working fire. At rs. E611 was disptached for the working fire assignment. At 2349hrs. Co. 6 units arrived and found a 2.5 story duplex converted into apartments with heavy fire amp smoke from 2nd. floor. All residents had been evacuatednbspprior to arrival.T631 crew was split and positionednbspthe truck tonbspvent thenbsproof. E611 crew assisted with interior operations and overhaul. The fire was placed under control at 0115hrs. and crews assisted with extensive overhaul operations.
