At 1410 hours Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched for a full assignment in Sta. 57 Delta-Cardiff first due for a Dwelling fire in the 1200blk. of Flintville Rd. At 1410hrs. E611. Chief 6 called enroute followed by E612 at 1413hrs T631 at 1417hrs. Dispatch advised the caller was reporting heavy smoke on the 3rd floor. At 1417hrs. E57-4 Chief 6 arrived reporting a 3 story dwelling with nothing evident. E57-4 crew deployed a 1 34 handline to the 3rd. floor and encountered heavy smoke fire. Command upgraded to a working fire status and all crews went to work. Crews placed a quick knock of the fire which was determined to be electrical. Crews checked for extension and assisted with overhaul operations. Units cleared a 1535hrs. UnitsSta.57Sta.56Sta.55E611E612T631C-6E914E912 transferred to Co. 6
