At 1345hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched to the 1500blk. of Main St. Whiteford for a Building Fire. At 1347hrs. Chief 6 E612 called enroute and was advised by Dispatch that the caller reported smoke in the basement. At 1349hrs. Chief 6 E612 arrived and reported a 3 story building with heavy smoke from the basement. Interior crew entered the basement and encountered heavy smoke conditions.
