At 2102 hours Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched to the intersection of Whiteford Prospect Roads for an MVA. At 2103hrs. C-6 E613 called enroute followed by A692 at 2108hrs. Dispatch reported a single vehicle had collided into an electric pole at location. At 2106hrs. Chief 6 arrived and found a single vehicle had sheared a class 1 electric pole that contain 2 major feeder lines. The pole was unstable and electric lines were suspended a few feet above the vehicle not allowing access to the patient. At 2107hrs. Command requested a rescue assignment and a priority 1 response from the power company. At 2124hrs. Connectiv arrived and shut down the power. The patient was extricated from the vehicle at 2146hrs.
