pAt 1349hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched to the 1600blk. of Deep Run road for a reported dwelling fire. At 1354hrs. E612 amp E914 called en-route and was advised caller reporting a fire in the house. Responding units observednbspheavy smokenbspin the area from about 3 miles away.nbspAt 1357hrs. Paramedic 6 nbsparrived and reported heavy smoke showing. At 1359hrs. E914 amp E612 arrived and found a working fire to anbsp1 12 story dwelling. Command immediately requested a 2nd. alarm assignment. Crews conducted an interior aggressive attacknbspto a well advance fire. The first floor then collapse with fire breaking through the roof that caused the interior crews to exit. Crews were able to enter the second floornbspand extinguish the fire in the roof area. The fire was place under control at 1517hrs. Crews then conducted extensive overhaul operations until 1845hrs.
