At 1208 hours Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched for a Chimney Fire in the 3900blk. of Bay Rd. At 1210hrs. E612 Chief 6 called enroute followed by E611 1214hrs E613 1217hrs. At 1215hrs. units arrived and reported a working chimney fire. Crews were hampered in finding any extension because of the delapetated conditions to the dwellings roof second floor areas. Additionally units had to use extreme caution making access into the driveway due to the soft ground conditions. At 1228hrs. Command requested 3 additional Engines for manpower the Building Inspector. The fire was contained to the chimney itself. Both E612 YC E57-3 had to recieve assistance in exiting the driveway.
