BOX 610 – MVA w/RESCUE & FLY-OUT

pustrongPylesville MD strongu- At 1815hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatchednbspto the intersection of Rt. 543 amp Heaps School Rd. for an MVA wRescue. At 1818hrs. PM6 A691 amp R651 called en-route and was advised by Dispatch of single vehicle that ran amp rolled off the roadway into a creek with the driver trapped. At 1820hrs. a WVFC member arrived and confirmed entrapment and requested aviation. Units arrived and found a single vehicle resting on its side in the creek and lone occupant trapped inside. Crewsnbsphad difficulty accessing the vehicle due to steep embankment that was covered withnbspsnow amp ice.nbspCrewsnbsphad to utilized the Jaws-of-Life Hurst tools and extricated the patient in about 30 mins. The patient was then transported to the Emory Church parking lot to meet the medi-vac.nbspThe patient wasnbsptransferred to MSP Trooper 1 and flown to Shock Trauma. Also Command requestednbspa Haz.
