pAt 1334hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched near the intersection of Grier Nursery amp Millers roads for an MVA with Rescue. At 1337hrs Chief 6 amp PM6 called en-route shortly followed by R651 amp A691. Dispatch advised responding units that caller reported a car-vs-pick-up truck involving 3 patientsnbspwith 2nbsppatients being trapped. At 1342hrs. units arrived and confirmed same. R651 crew then stabilizednbspbothnbspvehicles as EMS personnel began treating the patients. R651 crew then used the HURST tools to extricate both passenger car victims in about 23 minutes. Command requested 2nd. rescue unit R951 and two additional EMS units A991 amp A393. EMS personnel found on patient suffering serious trauma injuries and requested Medi-vac to the scene. Both drivers were treated and transported to local hospitals by EMS units. The passenger was flown to Shock Trauma by Trooper 1. Unfortunately the passenger succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. Harford County Sheriffs Dept. is investigating the accident.
