pAt 0432hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Rescue near the intersection of Ady amp Cherry Hill roads. At 0438hrs.Chief-6Dep.Chief-6 R651M691U1496M992nbspcalled en-route. Dispatch advisednbspChief- 6nbspof receivingnbspreports ofnbsptwo entrapped and in trauma arrest. The Chief immediately requestednbspa dispatchnbspof a second engine 611 and add Co. 9 Darlington rescue to the assignment. At 0441hrs. Chief-6 arrived and found a head-on collision involving 2 pick-up trucks. Command then confirmednbsp4 totalnbsppatients one had self-extricated from one vehicle and 3 heavy entrapped innbspa secondnbspvehicle. R651 arrived and crews began extrication to the trapped patients with assistance from E613R951 amp E611. Command requested a 3rd. EMS unit and Medi-vac which was down due to weather. One passenger was extricated in 20 minutes and transported to Shock Trauma by M992.nbspThe other drivernbspwas transported to Bayview Trauma Center by M691. Regrettably two of the occupants in the second vehicle were pronounced at the scene.nbspThe 3rd.nbsppassengernbspdiednbspthe followingnbspday. The Maryland State Police C.R.A.S.H.
