At 1436 hours Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched in Co. 9 first due for 2 engines to the 4500blk. of Flintville Rd. for a Dwelling Fire. At 1436hrs. E611 Chief 6 called enroute and Dispatch reported a working deck fire at location. E612 called enroute at 1439hrs. At 1441hrs. Chief 6 arrived and reported a working attach deck fire. At 1444hrs. E611 YC57-4 arrived on scene. Crews used one handline and checked for extension. It was determine that the cause of the blaze was a burn barrel adjacent to the deck. Units cleared at 1520hrs.
