Street, MD – At 1607 hours, as units were clearing the 57 box, Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched for engine and truck mutual-aid to Co. 9 (Darlington VFC) first-due for a barn fire in the 1300blk. of Quaker Church Rd.
Co. 9 units were originally dispatched for a woods fire that was spreading towards a barn. Units arrived, found the barn on fire, and requested a 1st alarm building assignment.
At 1607 hours, E611, T6, and Chief 6-1 en-route and arrived at 1617 hours. Prior to arrival, Co. 9 units had extinguished the fire involving the barn and were controling the woods fire.
Crews assisted with fire and overhaul operations to the burn area.
Units cleared at 1708 hours.
