At 1053hrs. Whiteford Volunteers were dispatched for 2 engines mutual aid to Co. 9 Darlington for a Dwelling Fire wRescue in the 2600 block of Dublin Road. At 1055hrs. Chief 6 called enroute followed by E612 at 1057hrs. Units were advised by Dispatch the caller reported an attach garage fire with an handicap indivdual unable to exit. At 1101hrs. E913 Chief 6 arrived reporting nothing evident. Shortly Command upgraded to smoke showing and all occupants out of the residence. Crews made a quick knock on the fire and found the source to be a stored electric wheelchair. Crews checked for extension only finding moderate fire and smoke damaged.
