Through the years John-Rnbsphas received numerous awards from Maryland amp Pennsylvanianbspfor his dedication to the volunteer fire service. He was inducted into the Hall of Famenbspby both thenbspMaryland State Firemans Association and the HarfordCecil Firemans Association. Also John-R was awarded the Marbery F. Gates Cup Service Award by the Maryland State Firemens Association in recognition of fifty 50 years of continuousnbspand faithful service. John-R retired as a Harford CountynbspFire Dispatcher. John-R was truly committed to the Delta-Cardiff VFC in holding multiple officers andnbsphis membership withnbspthe Whiteford VFC throughout the years.
