It is with great sorrow that the WVFC Officers and Members announce the passing of Safety Officer Daniel Lemmon on September 26, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dan served with the WVFC for the past 25 years, mainly as the Safety Officer. He also severed as Vice President, Board Member, and Acting Chief during his tenure. Dan did currently served as a Crew Chief with the Harford County Department of Emergency Service Special Operations Team.
Dan retired as a Fire Captain after 20 years with Baltimore County Fire Department.
