pDuring the height of the severe thunderstorm that impacted the area Whiteford Volunteers were kept busy for 2 hours with the following callsppustrong1535hrs. – Motor Vehicle Accident -Rts. 136 amp 165 strong-u Units arrived and found a single vehicle off the roadway into a deep ditch. Patient hasnbspserious injuries and transported to Bayview hospital due to medi-vac down due to weather. Units cleared at 1604.nbspppstrongu1604hrs. – Building Fire – 2500blk. Whiteford Rd.ustrong – Units responded for a reported lighting strike at the Delta Lumber store. Crews investigated and found no evidence of a lighting strike or fire. Units cleared at 1610hrs.ppstrongu1628hrs.nbsp – PoleWires Fire – Whiteford amp Prospect Rds. ustrong- Units responded and found a pole had been struck by lighting and pose no further hazard. Power Co. was notified. Units cleared at 1646hrs.ppstrongu1646hrs. – Field fire – Grier Nursery amp Holy Cross Rds. ustrong- Units responded and found a wire down and arcing. Power co. notified.
