At 1947hrs. Whiteford Volunteers was dispatched for an Engine and Truck mutual-aid to York Co. Sta. 57 for a structure fire at Harkins Funeral Home, located at 600 Main St. (Delta Boro). At 1948hrs. Truck 6 called en-route, shortly followed by Engine 611. The 911 caller reported a fire in the second floor bathroom. Sta. 57 units quickly arrived and reported smoke showing from the division 2. The active fire was quickly extinguish and contained with minimal extension to the bathroom.
